Performing artists deserve recognition for their long hours of hard work. The Southern Star Invitational provides a great opportunity to reward the students!

To recognize the variety of achievements, a wide variety of awards will be presented. With large and impressive trophies, students will have something to take home and proudly display. In fact, the grand champion trophy stands almost 6 feet tall!

Trophies will be presented to bands for Best in Class, Second Place, and Third Place in each classification.

The Southern Star Grand Championship Trophy will be awarded to the band with the highest score band regardless of class.

Trophies and awards will also be awarded in each of the following band sections:

Drum majors
Brass lines
Woodwind lines
Drumline – on field
Drumline – frontline/pit
Color guards
Dance lines
Auxiliaries, including majorettes and rifles
